Dear Reader,
In this, the last month of the year, we present an issue of beginnings.
Each month the moon starts its cycle over, returning to darkness to grow again in the light. We at A Curious Moon look forward to this monthly transformation as a reminder that we can always start again.
Our second issue is named for the New Moon. The pieces we have selected capture these moments of darkness, and the light that somehow follows. Moments of madness and liberation. Moments crawling on all fours only to stand again. Moments when we know the darkness, and moments when we turn on the light.
We have selected thirteen pieces, one for each of the thirteen new moons we have in a year. Each piece brings a unique look at our theme, and carries with it beauty and light in dark times.
We at A Curious Moon wish you peace on this upcoming winter solstice. We hope you enjoy these incredible works as much as we have, and that reading them on these long nights of winter inspires you to reflect on your own inner darkness and light.
Stay Curious,
Kiah and Katelyn
